Link up with Services & get the most out of your NDIS plan.
A Recovery Coach is an NDIS role designed to provide guidance and support for you to utilise your NDIS plan. NDIS services can be tricky to navigate, but your Recovery Coach will work with you to make the process a lot smoother.
How we work
We want to help you feel empowered by the process, so as Recovery Coaches we aim to work closely with you during our meetings together. Everyone is different, and how we work will ultimately come down to you and where you're at.
But you are not alone. We got your back!
Step One is us getting to know each other and exploring together what your goals for your life look like.
Step Two is coming up with a plan together around what services would be most beneficial to you for where you are at right now, and uncover how your NDIS funding can best be utilised.
Step Three is setting up services for you using your NDIS funding.
Ongoing there is a lot we can explore during our time together, and we have a selection of tools ready to go to support you to better understand what you need.
We will be there with you if you aren't happy with your funding or any of the services you receive, and we will work together to come up with solutions. At the end of your plan we will support you to advocate for the funding you need to have included in your next plan.
"The best part of being an RC is being chosen to walk alongside you on your journey and having those beautiful ‘ah-ha’ moments when we reflect on the work that has been done so far and realise we need to set new goals because you realise you have achieved what you once thought was unachievable. Sharing those moments are the best part of my job! Having the opportunity to show you how to advocate for yourself, then seeing you do it for yourself and others while achieving your goals is what this job is about for me."
