Connect2U is a peer-based skills group. This group is all about connecting us to live authentically in a group rich in support. We'll navigate the complexities that comes with being a human being; and explore a range of tools and strategies to regulate emotions and better cope with the challenges of life.
A safe space to help each other connect with who we really are, while learning the skills to regulate our emotions and gain insight and understanding about the more tricky parts of ourselves. |
"What I enjoy most about Connect2U is how everyone coming along are connecting in a very organic way. The fluid structure of the meetings allows conversations to feel more natural than other groups. It allows us to not only provide our participants with useful tools for navigating every day life, but model how to employ them and share with others."

Take a deep dive into the science of our bodies and how they interact with stress and trauma. This interactive workshop is an exploration of our minds and bodies and how they naturally rise and fall with our day to day life. Most importantly this Trauma Informed workshop provides insight into how we can befriend our mental health and emotional experiences as we help ourselves through the ups and downs of life.
1. What is your Nervous System? 2. How does it affect your daily life? 3. How do you befriend and Nurture your Nervous System? |
I am passionate about this sharing because learning these tools played such a tremendous part in my own post traumatic growth and PTSD recovery journey. Its also worked beautifully for the people I have supported in my career as a worker in the Trauma Space. These tools and this information comes from my education, my work, my lived experience and more, so it is tried and tested by myself and the people I have supported and we have found such resolution in the learnings.
